After all that I'm curious too. It must be really difficult for the pysche that your skin color would be an issue on weather you should move into a town of your choice. That never came to mind when I was looking for a house to purchase. The things we take for granted.

No Jews in Matzah-Pizza?

I was not aware that there were any kosher restaurants in Hickville?

LOL!!! We will eat Indian but do we want to live next to one?

I hate to say I know so little about them. Most that I've come into contact with speak Punjabi, practice the Sikh religion, have great music the fusion of Bhangra and dance, Jind Mahi, have excellent spicy food, Bollywood movies suck and they are bad tippers There are over a billion of them on this planet and that's all I know about them. I need to get out more.

How exactly do you know they are non-jewish? Do you go around and ask people what religion they practise. You seem very racially oriented.

I work with a Guyanese Indian. Great guy, hard working, Catholic. I think people care more about culture rather than race.

Funny thing is my neighbors are of Jewish Decent and We are mixed between Italian, Greek and Mexican...My Children are the darkest in their classes, and probably the most popular. Or at least its what it seems like since I always have several children play in, at or around my house.

Oh and we are in Massapequa

Just read this thread. I am a minority and a Wantagh resident for 20 years. We have not had any real problems and the neighbors have been great.

Im in Suffolk so while I dont know the area specifically,

The unfortunate stereotype for any family that isnt white is that:

1. There will be 15 people living in the house
2. There will be 8 cars -working or not- parked all over the driveway, street and lawn.
3. The grass will be 18 inches tall - or dead from no watering
4. Garbage bags will sit at the top of the driveway for weeks
5. Sticks/branches will never be picked up
6. Leaves will never get raked
7. Toys and other items will be strewn all about

How can I assume this? I have seen it first hand.
Sadly one minority family down the block does this. (not sure Indian or Pakistani perhaps?)
While another minority nuclear family (Dominican) two houses down from keeps their house immaculate!

I could care less what goes on inside but keep your stinkin' house clean and neat!
CLEANLINESS ONLY COSTS A FEW CENTS! Its all just hard work.
...and give me a wave 'hello' when I pass.

Not that whitey wouldnt do any of the things above either but this is the stuff that helps keep prejudice going.
