This pole is 50 feet up. This is a massive hawk with a wingspan of about 4 feet. You can barely see the mockingbird he's feeding on.

I hear ya! I think I may have to move back to my hometown. We moved to San Diego last year, but it didn't work out and so we moved to my husbands hometown in PA. Though it's beautiful here, I'm not an Eastcoast kind of gal. If we move back to California (I can't type of say that abbreviated term), we'll either do Los Angeles or move up to the Bay area.

Memories of when I lived near Virgil and Wilshire in 1959; I used to walk this very sidewalk on my way to eat lunch everyday at Rand's Roundup, an all you could eat buffet just past the Ambassador Hotel.
