If you look on the radar map, it shows wet weather over much of Southern California, as well as Los Angeles area.
It's June, I thought it was extremely rare with rainfall in the summer ?!

It feels good, doesn't it? My lemon tree is happy about it too.

My kids looked up shocked when they heard the thunder. Love it.

I heard some thunder in WeHo as well, though it has barely sprinkled.

This isn't rare though; in fact we have a name for it: "June Gloom"

Yes it is unusual for rain in SoCal but any amount of rain is good right now since we're experiencing a drought. Since I live in the SFV, I'd rather have a gloomy, rainy few days than 100-degree weather.
