And again, thanks for the info. seriously.
No apology necessary. It does seem funny to those of us who know better than to do something like that.

Oh, FB- great pics.

I publish Maine Nature News. New editions come out on Tuesdays. As soon as I make a pot of coffee and grab some lunch I'll go to work on this week's edition. I write the editor's column. Readers around the state contribute what they've seen in nature in the past week.

I've never seen an apple tree with apples on it. I KNOW apples grow on trees, I know what trees look like - and apples. But apple laden trees........can some post a photo?

If my digital camera was working I would.

To keep this from being picture heavy I'll put these in as links.

When I lived in Florida I couldn't believe people let oranges and grapefruit sit on the ground. Agh! WHAT were they linking? Well, probably the same thing we link when we leave apples on the ground - better get those before they spoil.

Oh thank you! I just can't imagine going outside and picking all the apples I want when I have to go the yucky grocery store and pay $1.39lb for them! I also can't imagine going outside and gathering fall leaves to decorate with when I'm currently having to pay for plastic leaves! We do have real pine cones in the yard, thank goodness!

I know some of you think it's "plumb silly", as my grandma would say, but there are so many wonderful aspects of life in Maine that I just absolutely crave! You'll be hard pressed to wipe the grin off my face for quiet some time once we get there. Even the corruption in Caribou won't ruffle my feathers!

BTW, the house is officially being listed on Monday, come hell or high water! Then, it's only a matter of time - PLEASE let it be a SHORT time!!

Yup, across the bay in the second pic is the Dockside Lobster Dock where we have a family reunion every other year.
