MA has become a strange place lately. Seems like there's a high percentage of people doing incredibly well job wise with big salaries then there are lots of these gang banging, ms13, drug dealing types living on the cape and shooting up shopping malls.

So are the gang cultures from Mattapan/Dorchester and Randolph/Brockton converging on Braintree?

I think we're just talking about black people. Last time i checked there were no black people living in quincy.

I'll go to Westgate, during daylight hours only, although Best Buy and Market Basket are really the only stores worth patronizing. I would describe it as a very unsavory place that will only get worse once Macy's closes.

Braintree borders Randolph. I don't think anyone who lives there is surprised.

Heh. I never realized braintree was bordered by randolph. I always thought it was bordered by quincy, weymouth, holbrook and maybe rockland...

Malls are odd. Holyoke Mall is actually pretty packed and includes some high end places. Yet at the same point it's in the poorest part of the state.

I'd argue at any given point there could easily be 1,000 people in there. Long ago the fire chief pranked that the place was on fire! Not kidding

Eastfield on the other hand has been dying for awhile. I've heard that the Old Navy there only pays $200 a month for rent. The mall begged them to not leave. Of all the development in springfield people tend to avoid talking about the mall.

There's also malls that have been long gone like Harborlight in weymouth.

Yup, you can take Brook road in the back of the Braintree cinema and drive right into Randolph after the reservoir. The border is right there.
