Many in that industry are understandably panicked. I can’t judge it because I’m not in their shoes.

For even Fall 2021, they would really have to botch the vaccine rollout. Which I wouldn't rule out. But if things go smoothly you should see results once genpop starts getting it. Between that and the hordes of people getting it 'naturally' it should be tough to spread in areas with good vaccine take.

Mission accomplished.

I certainly wouldn't mind being WFH into 2022 but realistically I don't think it will come to that.

New Michael Bay horror movie about 'Covid-23' and lockdown accused of being 'completely tone deaf'

"In Songbird, the world is thrown into ruin by a contagious new Coronavirus disease (no, seriously) which has mutated, becoming more contagious and dangerous with each mutation.

The movie is set in the year 2022; Covid-19 has mutated to Covid-23, and the world is in its 213th week of Lockdown. (It hasn't actually been that long for us yet, but it is really starting to feel like it.)

Over 8 million people have died, the death rate continues to climb, and a strict mandatory curfew is in effect.

Only those who have been found to be immune to the disease are allowed outside, and anyone found breaking quarantine by leaving their room is shot on sight.

Likewise, anyone who is found to be showing any form of symptoms can be dragged from their room by the Government, before it is implied they meet a painful and terrifying end."

Half the country is going to buy into the nutty anti-vax conspiracy. Community spread isn’t going away. We’ll still be killing grandpa a year from now.

Pfizer and Moderna didn’t do weekly testing as part of their trials. We have no idea how effective these vaccines are at stopping community spread. We just know vaccinated people don’t exhibit symptoms. Until we have months of testing data, it’s possible that lots of vaccinated people could be asymptomatic super spreaders. In my opinion, it’s unlikely but it’s certainly possible.

I figure the most likely outcome is that the vaccines are effective and there will be enough mandatory vaccination between K-12, colleges, and large employers that the anti-vax nut logs won’t be able to cripple the country.

Yeah i'm not sure what to think on the restaurant thing...obviously it isn't good for people to be indoors eating together...but it seems like people are going to do this regardless in their own homes, etc. Overall the area they must be hurting the most in is alcohol sales that would be taking place after 9:30.

I know. I can see both sides of that. I feel bad and can understand the anger completely.

Two people in the UK had a bad allergic reaction to the Pfizer vaccine. UK is saying that people with a history of allergic reactions to vaccines shouldn't take it for now.
