Default Windowless schools

North Miami Beach Senior H.S. is also a windowless school; I went there in 9th grade. I just looked it up and apparently it was the first high school to be built in Dade County (1971) with no windows of any kind.

Miami Springs Class of '91! (it was supposed to be 1990 lol)

I remember in '88 Miami Springs had and asbestos problem, so we had to share
with Hialeah High for a half year, so the Hialeah kids started at 7:30am and Springs started at 12:30pm.

What a great time that was!

MAST Academy. Go MAKOS!! Wow, all the rest of you went to normal public schools (except those who cut class to much, of course!!) I wish I could say that we had great times, and I will always remember them, but we didn't do anything. Our school had no school spirit, They always had these stupid pep rallys to try and amp us up. We were just happy to get outta class. We had sports, but of course no football or basketball. If we could get you in the water, we could kick your ass, though. But, anyways, no. No school spirit. Basically, we just went to class, then went home. Blah!!

I went to Southwest High School graduated in 1970. No air conditioning!!! Most Northern wing was Vocational wing. Automechanics,Electronics,Cosmotology etc. My last year 1970 they let us grow our hair past our shirt collars and over our ears. What a long strange trip it's been! GO EAGLES
