Milwuakee's beauty is SOOoo under-rated. Just incredible how that city flies under the radar. I'm guessing that's part of why it's so good anyways.
It's just the tip of that iceberg too. There is SO much culture and so many hidden views.

The land around downtown is native swamp land. The land lacks the good solid bedrock to go extra high on the buildings. I have no source to back this up but I believe that the US Bank building (the tallest in the city) is about as high as they could safely go on that particular parcel of land.
