It's practically a ghost town from when school starts,Fall, to when school lets out, Summer.
----------another thought------Brainard International Speedway----------------

You should be aware of at least give some thought to the Brainard International Speedway the is off of 371, near Gull Lake. A friend has a cabin on Gull Lake, off 371 about one mile in the north side of Gull Lake. You can hear the race cars pretty much, very loud, across the lake. Maybe that's why it is so inexpensive. Mayb, not, but that does sound like it could be close to the tracks.

I would try to spend time up there while a race is going on to see if sounds would be a problem. Funny cars are the loudest and sound carries across water really well.

Other than that is beautiful and quiet and most lakes are sandy bottom and great fishing and swimming lakes.

Edit: checked map, my friends are on Round Lake not Gull Lake. Probably quieter on Gull. It is pretty urbanized around Gull lake. Not really many quiet summer cabins on the lake anymore. Mostly full sized year round homes.
