Hiya nberic! Boof is doing well, I saw her & Mr. Boof about a month ago when they were visiting Branson for their anniversary!

She doesn't hang around here much these days, I think she drifted away due to one of the notable argumentative trolls that kept pouring water on the pixie dust...she's a very sensitive soul.

But I'll tell her you say hey...

Trying to cram as much lake time into what's left of summer......they say "lake time" is deducted from your age, you know!

Please give Boof my very best regards! Ditto for Mrs. Genealogy as well (and da jammer if you ever see him--I think he's more around the Springfield area), and it's terrific to see Darlynn back here too. All you guys are beyond compare! And isn't going to be marvelous to add Curmudgeon to your group?

It's hard to predict what the coming months will bring (Good times? Honkin' inflation? Big tax hikes?), but God be willing, at a minimum Mrs. NBE and I will try to take a good vacation in Fall 2010 and try to cover eastern Oklahoma and most of Missouri including St. Joe and St. Louis--and of course Springfield-Branson! Hopefully we could have an OTFCC pow-wow even though we might actually not be "over the fence" in the true sense by then.

And you thought there was some other reason we decided to move there?

Default C'mon down, the waters fine!!

And I dare say that you won't ever regret it, Curmudgeon!!

Thanks for the kind words, ladies and gents! Rocker man and I are doing fine! If you get a chance, this week, come out and hear his (at least one)bands!! Check out the calendar at www.scotfreelancaster.com

** Tonite is The Horn Dawgs at TABU in Branson...

We have a new "BABY", named Xander. Ain't he purdy??

Chatter Box II-zander.jpg

He is a 4 yr old Harlequin Great Dane that we rescued from the Taney County Humane Society. One of the sweetest dogs ever! Good thing, too! Especially, since he weights in at about 145 lbs!

My whole house smells so good. I'm drying basil in the oven. Smells like pesto, or pizza, or something else delicious.
