Every morning when I step outside I am filled anew with the wonder of this place, the lake, the community, the abundance of nature, et al. We truly feel blessed to be here.

Somewhere in northern Missouri. Maybe northwest, to be convenient to Kansas City, Omaha, and Des Moines, with a nice straight shot up to Minneapolis and beyond. Northern Missouri strikes me as being more peaceful and less crowded than the ever-growing Ozarks. This is all if I were to live in the country or a small town. For a city, I like Kansas City the best, but the others are okay too.

Its home, I was raised there, I love it there sooooooo much! We bought 60 acres, there is a singlewide on it, which is enough for now. DH has 15 more years until he can retire, so we have quite a bit of time to design and build!
