Oh Yeah! That's right where we are now. Imagine that.
It's perfect!

It's gotta be neat for people who have been following your search...and then move...to hear that you're happy. It sure is for me!
Wow...this is an old thread!

It certainly is an old thread but I couldn't resist. The original question was just too tailor-made and compelling!
Every morning when I step outside I am filled anew with the wonder of this place, the lake, the community, the abundance of nature, et al. We truly feel blessed to be here.
Ya done good, LJ!

Ohhh, you bought property THERE, kshe? How exciting! It is beautiful over there and that old town square area is sooo charming. The beautiful old homes, the river and hills...
Oh, yeah! That's what I'm talkin' 'bout!
Is there a house on it? If not, when do you plan on starting to build?

Somewhere in northern Missouri. Maybe northwest, to be convenient to Kansas City, Omaha, and Des Moines, with a nice straight shot up to Minneapolis and beyond. Northern Missouri strikes me as being more peaceful and less crowded than the ever-growing Ozarks. This is all if I were to live in the country or a small town. For a city, I like Kansas City the best, but the others are okay too.

Its home, I was raised there, I love it there sooooooo much! We bought 60 acres, there is a singlewide on it, which is enough for now. DH has 15 more years until he can retire, so we have quite a bit of time to design and build!

Awesome!!! 60 acres! I'm so happy for you...and yes, it is enough for now, huh? I'm a fan of "enough".
