Oh, no, that's LA weather. I'd much rather be here and a little cold than back in a place that's hot and dry. Very dry. Bone sucking dry.

We arrived about a month ago and love it. Have to say, part of our decisions to move here came from the comments by the people on this forum. It gave us a real sense of the place. Thanks everyone!

Steve, I never want to see snow again, that will have to be a NO. Besides, my son is here, he passed the test Verizon gave him, but no interiew was available tomorrow, so he'll be doing a phone interview on Monday from NJ. I don't think the interviewers were set up yet as the call center in Franklin is brand new. Right now only coroperate is there, but Jan will be the 1st set of call center employees. I think he will get the job as the test was the main part and that could not be done unless you went there because it was all phone and computer simulations. My son said not everyone was passing it.

Diane G---praying he will be here soon.

Steve, watch out or I'll ship some snow to Murfreesboro. It can be done. A few years ago they wanted to have a snow party in San Juan, so snow was shipped there from New England. The Natives loved it, but it sure did not make the tourists happy, after all they went there to get away from the snow.

Thanks for the good wishes for my son. We are going furniture shopping tommorrow, just to look. I'll order if its a yes. There are Apartments around the corner from the office there, and that is what we will pick, as his schedule he was told will be 12-9pm. Very nice almost new complex!

Snowing in Green Hills?!?!?

Let's all go to Kroger! "Get out of my way, you old bag, I need toilet tissue and canned tuna. Haven't you heard . . . it's snowing. We could be stuck in our houses for two hours! We need to stock up on canned goods and paper products to made it through this ice age."

Diane, sending good wishes that your son gets the job.

OK, so at 6 a.m. this morning I counted 12 snow flakes. This should fill the requirement for the fall/winter snow! It was 20 degrees again.

I just saw toilet paper and canned tuna! I thought it was toilet paper, milk and bread. I guess I have to add another item to my snow list!
