Ha! They are indigenous to this area. They are really funny looking creatures skittering along the lawn. Took 3 years to see one in the yard, and I haven't seen again, the ones I got on video a couple weeks ago. I'm not sure I would want to get close to one i.e. leprosy and also they bite and have been known to kill and eat rabbits, etc.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a live one. Seen many flattened on the side of the road. And I did not know they were carnivores/omnivores!

I'm not sure what the armadillos were looking for in the yard. They scuttled through pretty quickly, sniffing around. There's a lot of nice clover and soft grass so it wasn't that they were looking for. Maybe mice? We have a ton of those, those it's gotten better after locking every single thing up (locking plastic containers), using peppermint oil and one of those nice traps with the bucket, ladder and the floor that falls when they get to the bait. The past few months have been so much better with doing all the foregoing.

for the last two weeks, the migratory robins have "ganging up" in our yard.
one day there will be 50 or more. the next day, none.
the next, a few, and then the next gang gets here.

Send them my way please! I just don't know why we aren't getting any birds this year. There are no pesticides or predators here. Other parts of the state are getting birds. I'm on a Facebook group for the birds of my state and there are lots of various birds being posted. It's a mystery.

Love it, thanks for the laugh.

Leaves are turning very early this year. Very dry year. I hope we have some cold weather to turn the leaves bright before they all fall to the ground.

Beautiful red fox just sitting on a 15' high pile of dirt just watching the actions of myself and my 2 dogs. Given the very strong smell of skunk that was present, I suspect he just got sprayed.

I looked out my window this morning, and saw two chipmunks doing acrobatics on a couple of Rose of Sharon bushes. They were climbing high to the very ends of the limbs to get the seed buds, or whatever they're called. It was so cute.
