Thanks KL72 for latest info. I hope they put brakes on price increase and make their final lot of houses a little affordable.
Either ways Cubberly meadows looks like a great community. Now that we have houses that are almost 6 year old, did you guys see any quality issues with construction ?

Not from my perspective and i haven't heard any systemic issues from neighbors. I think hallmark builds some solid houses.

Hi, I have a house coming up in this community and we are thinking of installing iron double door but wanted to get some input from existing owners on their experiences with iron doors mainly in winters such as condensation build-up and its potential impact on trim and flooring.

Thanks in advance.

No issues with mine. I guess the key is to get high quality doors. Mine came from Abbey doors, very good and reasonably priced.

We are hoping to order a double door of size 60X84 as actual openings making door unit as 64X86. But when I shared with builder he mentioned something about building code where operable door opening to be at least 36inches which I thought the 60inch door (both panels open fully) should satisfy.

But wanted to get opinion from folks who have iron doors and did they go with door unit of 72inch wide or smaller. Also whether my understanding abt counting both door panel for the 36 inch building code requirement is incorrect?
