It is tough, but it could be way tougher. You have it, and once you have it, it's yours (and affordable) for life, unless you decide to move of course. Hehe. The toughest part is over. It'll still be rocky, but it's only going to go up from here!

Congrats to everyone who's already in / pending approval, and good luck to everyone else in the early steps.

I know many management companies handle things differently so it can be completely stressful to wait for things to be sent out and mailed out and delivered and such. My anxiety was eased a bit when I realized Yuco Management does everything via email, so they have been on top of things from the beginning.

I'm not sure how 3160 handled things, but I feel email / direct phone calls are the best just because they are quick and convenient. Snail mail not only takes longer, but crap gets lost, or can come late! Ain't nobody got time for that!!!

So true! In my opinion wavecrest has been good. There is always a nice lady who answers my questions when I call, and my coordinator has helped me with filling out paperwork, and told me to call her by next Friday if she hasn't called me back. Everything has also all been through email and phone. so that definitely makes life easier!

I have a question for everyone that has viewed an apartment... did you guys go alone or with someone? because I really want to take my mom with me but I don't want them to think she's there because she is moving in or something. lol

This is so overwhelming. So as u all know I went to the interview on Jan 20th. I have a low log # 6xx however I think I am not cb because I live in the marble hill area. I was sent an email to send more documents and I did. I called every week as u guys suggested and it was always the same thing. "Still processing ". Finally on Monday our credits were checked for me and my 18y and 20y kids. How long after that? I called yesterday and again was told it was still being processed. Last time I called I was told that only 20 apartments were approved. So its scary if u guys r already saying that certain apartments r not available. I personally and waiting for the 3 bedroom in the $1663 bracket. I just hope it goes thru and I can be added to rhe neighbor list.... jajajaja
