I'm so happy for you both! I really was hoping to have been selected but I guess it wasn't meant to be.

The only thing that upsets me is when I was called in a month ago they already knew apts were filled & had me come in for an interview just to be placed on a waiting list. :0(

Wow that is great ladies! What were some of the rules? So does this mean that there was a ton of you in the same room?

@MissladyriverBX- I guess the rules will help to ensure that it is a good place for your kids.

@TwinMami- Stay positive wait list are needed because circumstances change for people. But good luck with St. Anns!

I am a little disappointed that we don't have a move-in date yet but am glad that this means it will be happening soon

Yeah I am a little surprised mainly because the purchase agreement says their will be a laundry room in the tower. Maybe for washing larger loads?

Yes that's what I was told the tower will have a laundry room for the renters and larger loads for the co-ops as well as them NOT having luxary appliances such as dish washer etc...I wonder if its staineless steel? If so what's the benefits for us co-op as the rental rents amounts are MUCH lower than what we're paying...I'm getting annoyed w/this

I am asking myself the same thing.... we are paying nearly double. Not including all the closing cost and such. Though technically we can afford this price gap and are also reaping the benefits of moving into a brand new building, I can't help but feel we were sold the exclusivity of these added amenities. Things like this make you want to cheat the system

Well I am glad there are "rules"; it will prevent VV from turning into the horror at Northrose. As soon as I see some ghetto, no class, no morals behavior I will be raising a fuss. Best believe that!

@ JBronxite, I'm with you on that! As soon as I see some ghetto mess, I'm making a complaint. With all the money that's coming out of our pockets, you better believe I'll be that tenant/owner who's always complaining. I'm putting that out there right now!

Well I'm only renting, sorry you guys feel some way about all the things the rentals have verses the co-op. I'll feel a type of way if I was in your situaition. As for me, I hope no ghetto bull**** goes on in the building too. I'm just happy about the turn out with the rentals. The laundry area in the building for the studio apartments & one bedrooms. They only have the dishwasher & microwaves. Well happy move & I hope everything works out =)
