Went today to inspect my unit. Only a few minor issues, pen mark on a wall, Some paint splatter on bathroom tiles and the door lock to the yard wasn't working properly. I'll go back in about a week or so to check the the items noted. I asked about closings and I was told June maybe July......Smh.

Don't shake your head. If you were familiar with new construction you would understand that these kinds of delays anywhere are normal.

I can understand your anxiety, I don't understand why they have not set more realistic deadlines and at least update people on their progress, especially if they are seeing delays. We're half way through May, June-July is just about around the corner anyways, wishful thinking.

@seneca72 - We had our Inspection yesterday and it went great too. Only minor issues, touch-up paint and door to patio. Otherwise, we are ready to roll.

Bank: We have to re-submit paperwork to bank re extending the committment date. smh

Closing: We probably won't move in until July. Depending on the inspection results, any issues will have to be resolved. Then we will get a closing date. The bank will probably give us 2-3 weeks notice. We are already talking about late June. I say we'll probably move in July.

I just wish there was a little more transparency about things. I understand that it may be in their best interest to not give out too much information but nothing at all is just frustrating.

Just going to leave it in God's hands.

Hey! For anyone that has signed their rental lease already, can you tell me if you went to Via Verde or The Upton to complete the process? I've been trying to call Via Verde personnel for the past week to no avail..

Any info (public or PM) will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
