I faxed my application for the a studio on July 5th and within a week I got my letter in the mail setting up an interview for mid-August.

So if you're accepted and you get an apartment.... are you in for good?

Do they check your income every year to make sure you're not making too little or too much?

Do you have to re-qualify every year to continue living there?

I THINK they do it after your lease is up? Not positive though.

Oh wait I think mochanyc said that in order for you to no longer qualify you would have to make 170% of your current income??? She mentioned that a couple of pages back

no. honestly theres not even enough room to think. you can get a pullout or fulton in there. but a couch and bed would be too cramped. if they didnt have that damn walk in closet ( which i dont need because i dont have that much clothes) then a bed would be great. hope for the m line its a step above the g, best of luck jkid

i dont mind the questions..i was like you all up into monday (when i got the call). so keep the questions coming!!!!

yes, they gave us a tour of the whole building, all the extras: pool, gym, terrace, are on the 7 floor. the gym and pool require a 750 dollar a year membership..oh wait its 750 bucks for club 7 membership; so the gym, pool, terrace, barbq, etc are only for paying members..will maybe not the terrace.

they give you a choice to sign a 1 0r 2 year lease. this means that in 1 or 2 years they can GO UP ON UR RENT! whether you make more, or the same. they do require you to prove ur income yearly - to make sure you still exhibit "need'.
