Drop coltrane wearing some jordans, gold necklace and an iphone in the middle of brownsville, in 100 degree weather, at 2am, during a blackout.

Thatd be sweet to watch.

LMAO!!

I'm actually surprised there hasn't been a blackout yet.

I used to have to go through Brownsville and East NY all of the time. Maybe to me, it's not that big of a deal since I've been around the areas since I was little, but to me it doesn't phase me.

Would I want to walk around there alone at 2am? No. But if I had to I would. I've been through some worse areas in Dallas where even the 10 year olds are looking at you hard like they want to do something.

For my 1st time in NY I had planned to go to Brownsville by myself just to see how things really go down around here but I don't think I will, the place seems way too much unsafe for a tourist, I have actually read about that recent shooting, when 6 people including a lil girl got wounded, stuff is scary, looks like some dudes have no morals out there...

That would be like dangling a steak in front of a pack of hyenas!

I'm a native and won't go to Brownsville, not sure why anyone would voluntarily visit. But hey, now we know what happens when you raze a large part of an otherwise working neighborhood and turn it into projects.

Even the areas without projects are pretty bad.. the 90s (not sure if they're Brownsville or East Flatbush) are very bad but are mostly homes and apartments.
