There are two outdoor ranges on Staten Island that allow handguns and all legal rifles. There always was a skeet range but I'm not sure if that's still around.

The Mayor needs to focus on all the shooting we have here in our City with guns, and never mind worrying about large sugary drinks and second hand smoke.

I am more afraid of seeing a youth with a gun, than a man with a marlboro in his hand....or a tween with a large sugary drink in his hand.

Don't bring your guns to NYC.... you'll get arrested and thrown into the slammer for a manadatory two years for gun possession. And our Mayor Bloomberg will smack you on the wrists with a ruler and take away your 20oz soda.

The mayor needs to focus on rehabilitating criminals in our broken society, rather than blaming an inanimate object like a gun.

They won't let us go because we have the only outdoor ranges in the city.

What about Crossbows, and regular bow and arrows? Do I need permits for that stuff too? I really wanted to take up hunting as my latest passion. Darn, wasnt there a time when it was very easy to get guns in NYC? My uncle is always telling me stories about people and criminals alike packing heat all the time to scare each other away in the 70s and 80s. Oh well, I am pretty good at making and throwing atlatls and I know how to make box traps, and figure 4 traps out of the nothing. I can use those for my medium, and small game. But what will I do about birds? I can probably convert an atlatl to hurl lots of small pellets. As for big game, I will fashion a mighty spear and name it Gungnir after Odin. If the forest rangers tells me I cant use those, I will just say, "oh I got lost in woods, and was in a desperate survival situation, I hadnt eaten for days!"
