This makes perfect sense especially with the proposed rezoning/redevelopment.

I guess the word is out, doesn't say where exactly but they just bought property in Cypress Hills.

“East New York is Brooklyn in the raw and Cypress Hills has the same sense of potential as we once saw in Bushwick ten years ago,” Norte Maar’s director and cofounder, Jason Andrew explained, “here we will once again have room to experiment and create.”

Forest Parkway, it's not too far away from CH, but it feels much different, you'd be surprised what difference a couple of city blocks away would make.

Seems like a lot of home owners/landlords are selling their property in CH recently. The row home where I was staying at in CH was sold for 425$ LOL! SMH! I was living month-month there without a problem for the years for only little over 1000$ which is below market rate. However, she warned me 3-4 months in advance of her plans.

I have some family with property in CH but I need my space. What others rentals I found in CH were hole in the walls in comparison to what I found in Queens or further south in Brooklyn.

Forest Pkwy is nicer. You got the park right there and the bus over on Woodhaven blvd to go to the mall or the beach. And its only a couple short stops further away from Lower Manhattan on the J.
