I am hopefully very close to signing a lease but I just saw it is 20mins from a train station Also were you able to view the apartment or see a layout before signing? Anyone know the square footage of the 1 bedroom?

Thanks for the insight, LynLively! I wasn't exactly sure how that worked with having to give first month's rent at the signing of the lease... And then having to already pay at the first of the month, especially having only just moved in a couple weeks prior. I'm currently renting an apartment and was worried about how much rent I'd have to pay upfront. It'd be difficult having to pay two rents in the transition... if I were to get the call!

Anyway, hope you all have a Happy Holidays!!!

Hi Divinity536!

I'd suggest walking the neighborhood to get a feel for how close the subway (and other amenities) are from the building. I scoped out the building a couple months ago and I tested walking to the G train from there. It's definitely not as long as you think (or what google suggests), especially if you go to the entrance on India Street/Manhattan Ave. There are also citibikes a block away, which you could ride across the Pulaski bridge into Queens where the 7 train is. That walk is a bit far and you'd probably not want to walk it right now in the winter.

In terms of the leasing and viewing questions, I'll leave that to the others. As of today, I'm just on the weight list!

Hey guys I signed my lease for a studio. I will start the moving in process this weekend. I asked the person who I signed the lease with how many more apartments are available he said there's about 20 left in the building. The building is new and clean and I'm so happy! God is amazing! Yes he is you got that right. To anyone that's still waiting it is a a game of patience but I hope everyone and anyone that's reading this will get that call. I love you happy holidays

Congratulations on your lease signing. What a way to start the New Year.... I was wondering if they actually reached out to your job. I called over a week ago and was told to expect a call in the next few days (yay) because my application was going thru final approval. But they have not reached out to my job yet. I'm wondering if they maybe bypassed that part since my paystubs were accurate.

Hi there,
The G train station at Greenpoint Avenue is a 5-7 minute walk, that's all.
