Anyhoo, same sex marriage isn't going anywhere in NYS. The culture wars on this issue are a non factor for the overwhelming majority of people. Most will vote on bread and butter issues, but obviously not all.
Ha.. just don’t tell him Dick Cheney and Trump were for same sex marriage before all those Dem clowns. His head might explode.

I drive through Pelham Manor on a daily basis. All I see are Hocul/Delgado signs. It's amazing the bubble/fantasy world these folks live in.

I'm gonna say this. If people are legit sick and tired of what's happening in NYC, Tuesday's your chance to prove it. Put up or shut up.

I think Hochul will still pull it out but if the margin was 5%, Kamala and Hillary wouldn't be out stumping for her. Their internal polls are probably fairly ugly. It appears that it'll be very, very close. Most likely within 3% or less. Wouldn't be surprised if the race is within 1% either way.

What they're afraid of is high turnout against Hochul from those that tend not to vote and the peeling off of some traditionally Democrat voters amongst Asians and now Hasids/ Orthodox Jews (who reliably voted for Cuomo).

This election will hinge on turnout. Will all those welfare programs that the Democrats used to buy votes over the past 10 years ultimately do what they were originally intended for all along? If they lose this, it changes the entire dynamic in NYC.

Don’t underestimate the power of Dems in election cheats as they always play. If Biden could hack it with a big gap after Trump in 2020, It is a piece of cake for H to reproduce it without raising a question from NYERS.
I wonder how NY monitors election integrity this year.

To be honest, I've never bought into the election cheating thing. Does election fraud happen? Oh course. Is it happening on a scale to tip national or even state elections? I very much doubt it. I can see it being possible for local elections.

The truth is if the Democrats can turn out their "base" aka the welfare class in NYC, there is no way Republicans win. This is all about turnout on both sides.
Quote:
. Now, the close New York contest between Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul and Republican Rep. Lee Zeldin has galvanized both parties heading into the final feverish days of the campaign. Worry about turnout has led to a flood of money, events and special guests — from Bill and Hillary Clinton to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

“When Democrats turn out, we win,” Hochul said Friday morning on CNN. “I think what’s not being captured in the polls is that there really is, finally, energy on the ground. It doesn’t manifest itself earlier, but you only need to peak on Election Day.”
Quote:
A recent internal Hochul poll had her up single digits, with less than 50 percent of the vote, according to a Democratic consultant briefed on the results.
Quote:
The race will come down to regional benchmarks that have long been the recipe for New York elections: Republicans must win upstate, the suburbs and more than 30 percent of the vote in New York City. Democrats need to run up the score in the heavily blue city, and then break even or come out slightly ahead in the rest of the state.

Zeldin acknowledged the winning balance, which a statewide Republican hasn’t struck since George Pataki won a third term as governor in 2002.

“If you get less than 30 percent in New York City, you can’t win,” Zeldin said in an interview last week. “If you get more than 35 percent in New York City, it starts to become very difficult to lose, depending on what that number is north of 35 percent.”
