I’m just saying they’re not known for vegetarian food

There are options but Trinidadian food is not famous for being vegetarian

Plenty of vegetarian dishes, but they are marketed as "breakfast" dishes. Usually by lunch they are sold out except for the chaana. Some examples:

Pumpkin
Roasted tomato
Roasted eggplant
Okra
Kerala ( bitter gourd )
String beans
Eddoes - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eddoe
Curry potato
Chaana
Curry mango
Cabbage
Various egg dishes

Trinciti is the only place that has most of these everyday for breakfast. Other places might have just a few and they won't taste as good.

Seems like they are still around, though I see a bunch of lamb and chicken dishes (no goat, and I love goat meat!). It's very expensive, though!
