Congrats to all new hires. You will hear this in training, so you might as well hear it now. 1- You'll have more good days than bad, 2- Hardest part is getting to work, 3- Allow for extra time when traveling to work, anything can happen along the way. 4- Whenever you call a district or office, remember the name/ title of the person you spoke to. If you didn't hear their name/ title, ask them for it again before you finish your call.
Has anyone heard about a possible class in the spring time?
There is a hiring freeze so who knows when there will be another class. You have the 100 behind hired and also the 100 officers that are being demoted all because the city is worried about this winter after that we will start hearing the rumors about layoffs. If there was to be another class I would assume it would be in the fall.
2 years from now. right before they issue a new test.
