I wish that it was still possible to go to a cafe or retail establishment and not be assaulted by loud music of any genre. Some of the shopping centers around here even pipe it through speakers in the parking lot. I honestly miss the days of "elevator music" that stayed in the background.
But it won't drown out 9 Inch Skinny Puppy or whatever the frick these trash metal *** hipster bands are called.
And it's NOT music, for anyone's information. I know that back in the day, parents said the same about the Stones and Led Zep. Well, they were WRONG! Those groups, even when hard rock, had MELODY!!!
Every generation says this about every new generation's music.
Okay, so I am not, like, 20-something, you know? So maybe someone will accuse me of being an old fogey or whatever because I cannot STAND this hipster noise played at cafes!
Anyone feel me on this?
What do you do besides sit in cafes and hang around statues typing on your Chromebook?
Earbuds are your answer, BTW.
