I am on another forum and posted that I saw a man on a Penny Farthing on Sunday

someone in another country said they saw one parked outside their local hotel

a couple of weeks ago

leading me to speculation there is an Alcoholic Penny Farthingist drunkenly swerving around on a World Trip somewhere...

I never knew that's what those were called. Never would have guessed. We have someone in my city that rides one - 99% chance he's a dirty hipster.

Long week for me.

Parents fighting and trying to stay out of it.
Panthers lose the Super Bowl.
My annual bonus gets devoured by a higher tax rate.
Super cold in DC.

Staying home all weekend has been great. So glad I got my grocery shopping done on Friday evening.

And I'm so glad the office is closed tomorrow for Presidents' Day. Another day to relax. Maybe I'll go somewhere tomorrow.

I started another shawl and a new to me pattern, I am six rows in and still undecided if I like the actual product as much as I liked the photo.

crochet or knit? I have about 10 crochet shawls, but most are the same pattern, just different colors. right now I have two afghans (crochet) and a scarf (knit) going.
