I don't know how people switch from nights to days, or handle swing shift.
I don't know how they switch either; I'll be happy when I go back to nights.

Everybody gets a system that works for them. After so many years on nights; days don't work for me!

My son works 2nd shift and I don't know how he does it, but he could always sleep anywhere, so he doesn't mind it at all....

2nd shift does not work for parents with young kids; you never get to see them. On the graveyard shift you can move your off-duty hours around to fit in all the school activities. Does your son have kids?

While I have just worked days for a short time; I do recognize that days do have benefits. I am surrounded by day shift workers that have actual blood flowing in their veins! It's like being in the middle of a giant smorgasbord to one of us vampires!

Driving to run my errands this past Saturday, I witnessed some beautiful fall foliage. Plenty was blown of the trees from that windy day we had last week but the view was still stunning from Bushkill Falls to Stroudsburg. As much as I complain about the area, I always find reasons like this to take in the obvious benefits of the area.

I'm busy taking all my trees down so I don't get any gawkers! Not really, I just have so many dead and dying trees. Enjoy the foliage while you can; there will be many more windy and rainy days ahead. As much as we like the Fall colors; they don't last forever.

Have a great day!

If the glorious colors lasted forever, they wouldn't be special and we'd end up ignoring them.

Them are my words of wisdom fur today. And probably fur tomorrow as well.

That's good enough for me.
