That's the neighbor's. I was standing on my property when I took the pic. I keep our property mowed - which is the downside of having acres!

Here is some of the property that I maintain. That is not all of it. You can see the trees that I have to mow around - you cannot see all of the rocks. But you can also see (if you magnify the picture) our chickens, a doe, and two fawns.

ok fisheye--am jealous--you have my ideal backyard! i grew up part time on my family's small farm---nice pics--keep em coming

Glad you enjoyed them! I did love the stare the one little fawn is giving our one chicken - like; what the heck are you! I just scared the two fawns about fifteen minutes ago when I walked around our house. They did not go far. When you have animals, ducks, chickens or whatever (other than dogs) the wildlife seems to sense they are safe (which I don't have to tell you from your experience).

Sometimes it is a lot easier to look at it than own it! It does take a lot of work and it gets harder with age. We like to do everything ourselves. At some time that will mean taking care of less and allowing some areas to go totally back to nature. But yes; we do love watching nature.
