I actually love them and want them around. Just not eating my flowers. LOL

Daffodils, but you missed them for this year. They pretty much leave my hollies (the sharp kind) alone.
Do you have a dog? I'm telling you right now, if you have a dog that will chase them, you have a chance at growing almost everything, but if they are not afraid to come close to your house, then they will eat just about anything.
They really like rhododendrens and hostas. We have a lot of ivy in our woods which they seem to like, so they just eat that instead of coming closer. Maybe you can plant something they like away from the house?

I have a yorkie. He saw the deer for the first time and chased them into the woods. I couldn't stop laughing. I said, "Dakota", they are going to be your new neighbors. That wasn't very nice. Hollies, hmmmm. I'll try that.

ROFL...The idea of the green socks is that they will blend in with the foliage on your plants and won't be so visible...And the intent is not to decorate your shrubs like a Christmas tree! You'd tuck them in among the leaves...Of course, if you want to get a head start on the holiday season...LOL

They ate everything.......Even shrubs that were picky and not suppose to be to their liking.
If you put flowers on steps to your deck. They will reach in and eat them too.
I think those wild orange flowers I see along the roads they don't eat. I forget the name but they are tall with an iris type flower. There was one shrub with little white flowers that look like bells that they don't touch. It is poison to them. We absolutely had no luck, along with our neighbors who put the deer repellent out. I tried fencing and everything I could think of, then just did the decks with flowers.......the only solution.

I think they are called Tiger Lily. Hmmmmm. Well, our deck is ground level so this should be interesting. LOL. I'll try a few and see what happens. Thanks everyone for your input.

Thats it.......I drew a blank on the name. They are all along the roadways and it seems none are touched.
