Assume nothing is open and passable right now. Many people never made it home from work tonight so no one in their right mind should try and go out right now. I'm annoyed because TV is my "distraction/mind release" - it's been out here since a little after 5 - once in a while it got some audio, no video. I'm currently wasting time online because I'm not that tired yet and I have a new book to start reading but: although I love to read, I just don't feel like it now, and if this book is good, I'll get so into that I read past my sleepy time and then I'm awake again
- plus (trying to keep the thread topic) - I keep wondering what the latest is on the snow stuff.

speaking of noises...I keep hearing quiet boom sounds on my roof or at least from the outside. Is this from the snow you think? Anything to be concerned about? I never heard it last year during the bigger storms.
