I don't doubt it. Most civilians have too many unneeded processes sucking up their resources.

GOOD JOB, CG/and SynOP.
ifgxtray.exe is for modifying the display properties on your Intel video adapter.

And yes a quick Google of the things you find in msconfig's startup tab can be helpful, BUT be careful where your taking your information from... There a LOT of BAD info out there.

I have a Dell computer as you all know, and now I am getting a blue screen once in a while that says that my computer crashed and so it is saving data to not harm my computer. I call Dell, and two different people gave me two different methods to cure the problem. A week later and it begins again. Any ideas?
You're getting the dreaded BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death).

Next time it happens, write down what it says... There are literally 100s of errors that can appear on the BSOD. Without knowing the exact error you're getting, I couldn't venture to guess.

Ah, yes, the dreaded Blue Screen of Death.

Even a dreaded civilian who sucks up too many resources such as I have experienced this phenomena.

Your computer's days are numbered. I sense impending doom. Tis a bad omen, like an owl sitting on the back fence hooting at 5 in the morning.

Back up everything you got and make plans to replace the mother board. Call for the Geek Squad (CG, Synopse, and Peggie).

Okay... Stop scaring Jessaka...
Lots of things can cause a BSOD including a driver update, etc.

Also... "Peggy" is a member of "The Geek Squad"????
She HATES this stuff.

If it's a problem with a driver, there will be something listed there like "***********.VXD"
That will tell us where the problem lies. You can ignore most of those numbers for now.

Peggie is honorary member because her name matches the girl's name in the MOD SQUAD.

You can be Link, the cool black guy, okay? Besides, you can't have just two okie geeks hanging out together, ... people will talk!

To stay on topic, I have temp fixed my AOL firewall problem by clicking on AOL icon, then right-clicking to properties, then EXPLORE and clicking the ADJUST AOL to RUN COMPATABLE W/Windows 2000.

Simple EH?

I see what the problem is. You vector ox000 is updating the registry without permission. Here's what you do to fix this:

Tweak the UI settings under the USB port H (not port I, which is next to H). Make sure there are sufficient memory buffers to allow for this though.

You'll need to update on manual install exactly 1/3 of the settings under the buffer editor as well.

Then, reboot and shift-click when you are 23.5 seconds into the reboot. This will bring up the graphic interface for the mastadal settings where you can reconfigure the offer size for memory interface.

Done!

BTW, this is what I'm running. I never have any problems.

Sorry jessaka, it was meant to be mud; it was all a bunch of garbage! Don't call Dell with that or you'll be on their list of "stupidest callers!" Sorry, I was only trying to joke around. I know I should have tipped you off a little more as it was just a joke.

Please, don't taze me jessaka!
