I saw a quote today on a blog I visit, to the effect that a person chooses to be happy or unhappy, but both take the same abount of energy. It's by Carlos Castaneda, and I wish I could remember it exactly.

Glad you asked. We'll be happy to tell you where you can go and what you can do!

so.. not only do you hate the place you live, but it sounds like you dislike serving your country as well. As a recently discharged veteran myself (and proud to have served!), do me a favor and find a way out of my military, and my state.

I think Goose is wanting Maverick to sing him that song, "You've lost that lovin' feeling". Boys will be boys.

Duh! I don't know how many times I've heard/seen that movie, and it still took nearly half an hour for it to sink in. And no, I'm not a fan, I just had someone around who loved combat shows of any kind.

Oh well like everywhere, some people love Oklahoma. Some people hate it. It's just a reality.

But, that being said, I am no fan of Texas. I miss Oklahoma, but I will make the best of it while I am in Houston. Because if I don't, those will be years wasted.

It is the best state. Texas runs a close second.

Don't discourage the complainers. Encourage them to complain very loudly. Hopefully those like them will hear and stay away from our sacred soil.

I don't think you really want me to tell you where to go and what to do when you get there
