Ok, so we already know Pelican Crest, but where else in OC are the locals the most snobbish? It's all based on misperceptions...or is it?

Snooty? Who, us? Website deems a few O.C. cities among the snobbiest. We beg to differ - somewhat. - The Orange County Register

Snootiest place I've ever been to is Clayton. Missouri. Newport Beach, and the Hamptons couldn't hold a a candle to the snobbery in that city. I have no idea why they are such jackholes - they are still living in Missouri, after all

Naturally, individuals in wealthy areas are more likely to be snooty because they have something to show off. Not that it's right, but it's a sad reality.

Newport Beach probably comes in at #1. Probably Laguna Beach to some extent as well.

As one of my college professors eloquently put it, OC is where people who become wealthy go to become a-holes.

Some people work their tail off, become wealthy, and remain humble and grateful for what they have. Others let it get to their heads and shove their wealth in other folks' faces. I've seen both sides of the spectrum in Newport.

Interestingly enough, the O.C. Register ran an article about this a couple of weeks ago and number 1 was SHADY CANYON !

How come everyone forgets about Dana Point, Villa Park, etc. etc.?

I'm going to go a little out of the box and say Yorba Linda/Anaheim Hills.

You sure have a thing for those places that are close to Corona. Hey, and that's ok.

It's always the front line that gets the brunt of the attack.

I ONLY have good things to say about Newport Beach, Laguna, et al. Corona might as well be Phoenix in those parts (most convenient beaches to Corona too ).
