I have all of that stuff but I really only use FB.
With a very large family that is spread all over the country plus a few "adopted" kids in the military it's priceless.
I've got a smartphone as well. Couldn't live without it, but i'm about to upgrade to an I-phone. I hate having a bunch of stuff that only has one purpose. My phone is my computer, camera, video camera, mp-3, recipe book, guardian of my secrets and various other things all in one small package.
One other advantage is being able to Google any strange thing my MIL is talking about and debunk it on the spot! That's my favorite feature.
I have a Facebook account and a cheapie cell phone (flip phone) that I only use for emergencies. Never got into MySpace or Twitter, but might look into Twitter to see if it's worth my while.
I have a generic Facebook I use only to qualify for specific Freebies.
I have a cell phone that spends most of it's time in my glove compartment..... not charged.
That struck a chord with me when someone mentioned farmville. Is that the imaginary
world on the net? When I went back to my hometown to visit my fathers last surviving
sister, her daughter, my cousin, was going on about something like that. She was telling
me all about the farm she had, and the land, and the imaginary family - I thought she was
going nuts!! At my Aunt's funeral a few months ago, she was still going on about it.
