Was quite bored this morning, so decided to extend my usual 10 mile daily run to 15 miles, just to make things a little more interesting.

1 hour 45 minutes it took. Still boring though.

Long distance running is without question a really mundane, boring pastime !

Thank you, both!

But as you probably know I've been doing my daily runs for years now; so it's all very routine these days. I've also run a few marathons, which is far more interesting because you're in competition with others. But on the downside it kills me the day after. So I rarely bother with anything above 20 miles these days

You have to be there, to understand, I think.

I feel so lazy reading this LOL. I don't run unless someone is chasing me.

LOL, I wish I could just "switch off" from all this running silliness. But the fact is I have it in my head that if I suddenly stop my daily run routine after all these years, I will immediately put on weight, and all of a sudden I would need to buy bigger clothes!

It's an irrational thought, I know, but one that motivates me to keep on running! Although for how much longer I really don't know

Right then: back to what I thinking of right now... I want to update my blog here, but I just can't be arsed

How some people think you can only catch one cold at a time, so think it's okay to visit someone that has a cold, if they themselves also have one.

In 45 minutes I have to leave to tutor a second grader for an hour. I'd sort of enjoy a snooze in my chair instead.
