I wore t-shirts and jeans 99% of the time back in the 1970's, not plaid pants!

With my 1966 Chevy Caprice, sometime in the summer of 1977, when I was 20.

Livewire, KDKB T-shirts, with the KDKB "Carrot", were very popular in the Phoenix area back then..

I clicked the link that led to the 70's store....is white the only colour those things come in???
Oh, those were the days. And if my dad ever knew I went for a ride that summer afternoon with the ice cream man....

Yes I remember the original green Herbal Essence shampoo-smelled like Heaven. You wouldn't believe the number of people who want it brought back...there's several petitions on the Internet going now.
Also, "Gee, Your Hair Smells Terrific!" and does anyone remember those "Earth Born" shampoos that came in all different scents, in little clear bottles?
How about "Tickle" deodorant?

I miss when everything came in glass bottles. Shampoo, milk, soda, salad dressings, lotions.

What do I miss about the 70's? I think I missed that decade.. it seems it just flew by.. LOL..

I remember a chewing gum or something they sold sometime around 1974 or so, that had cards in them with funny consumer product names that were parody of the actual products, like the shampoo "Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific!", I remember the parody name for it was "Gee Your Hair Smells Horrific!", or "Head And Shoulders", had "Head And Boulders".. There were several others, I'm sure if I jogged my memory a little bit, I could come up with more!
