Ya, SunQueen, but what would frustrate me is how early the innocence seems to leave the children. I really think the media has played a large part in that. Just the other day this woman in New York was killed by a sniper, the Daily News had to post a pic of her still lying there and did not blur the image at all. I think its callous and insulting to the family. By the time my kid would be a teen, I'd probably be in a rubber room somewhere from the stress. Interestingly my exwife, who was from Tanzania, said she wouldn't want to raise a child in this country.

I have told our kitties time and time again that there are two rules in this house by which they need to abide:

1) no shedding
2) no hairballs.

But do they listen??? Nnnnooooooooooooo. My big heavy quilt is now in the wash machine. It'll take half the day to dry.
Cats , they never listen. But they are so adorable, they always get away with anything.

Although they do not take direction well, they do not protest too loudly either. I read in Dear Ann/Dear Abby column years ago, that 33% of people said they wish they had only had pets, and not kids. I wonder how high that % would be now. I love my son so much, but my pets have been much easier to deal with., and also much less expense

I best not comment on the last 2 posts. Mainly because I don't want
some "chocolate streak" to get started like in the "I Ban..."(?) forum.

I am stressed bad! I was just fishing across the street and I had caught my 3rd fish....I was using an ultralight setup with my best Krocodile silver spoon....and I was doing my best to keep that fish from breaking my line and stealing that spoon....but, don't ya know, that dang fish took my best spoon and swam away with it! ...
Now, if I want to fish, I have to use some other dang lure and I haven't used anything but a Krocodile silver spoon for about 30 years.
AGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!
A new one costs almost $5 and I have less than $1. I just finished my only beer....now if any trick-or-treaters come around I'm gonna punch them! ............: crying:
I HATE this day! I HATE it!

(The SOB just started another "Moby Dick"!) I'll be after that fish for the rest of my life!

We received a statement from the insurance company for Mrs Aks’s thyroid operation that showed how much they would pay to each of the various doctors, labs and other services. Nothing seemed to make any sense with the charges and the amount of deductibles. I know that they want confusion because there’s money to be made when confusion is ongoing.

It would be much less costly to avoid paying the monthly premiums, forget about the copays, and simply do away with the health insurance companies all together. I want to move to Canada! Americans without health insurance can simply go away and die on their own, don’t get sick!
