Ok - I think I'm all caught up. Apologies if I missed anybody. Where's MrsX at? Haven't seen her for a bit. Hope you're ok, X.

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers Dew....much appreciated. It's a tough time, she's been a true "matriarch" to her family and it's difficult to see her this way but, we're all thankful for the good life she led, the example she provided and the wonderful memories we're fortunate enough to have.

Hey Finster....I was wondering about MrsX also - and ohiogirl...haven't seen her lately either....

Well, I'd imagine ohiogirl is out hobnobbing with the fashionistas, or perhaps some aptly-named-after-a-treat dude. (Hopefully. We all need a bit of Cherries Jubilee occasionally, after all.)

I'm feeling much better, Finster!

I only have one pill left in the z-pack. My aches and fever went away within hours of taking the first dosage. Weird thing: the sneezing stopped instantly too!

I didn't know that bacteria infections had sneezing as a symptom. I thought I had a cold or allergies that turned to sinus infection but the fever and aches occurred at the same time as the cold symptoms. I was even thinking maybe it was the flu even though I had my flu shots.

But I decided to fill an old antibiotic prescription because my gut instinct was telling me I had a bacteria infection of some sort. Turns out I was right!

This was the same infection I had in the fall. My doctor didn't treat it right away and it lasted more than 6 weeks. I wish I could figure out a way to get my doctor to treat me more aggressively when I get sick.

It's all a mystery. The good thing is that I'm feeling muc better! I only have a lingering cough from thick mucus draining from my sinuses now. I should drink more water.

Good morning all!

So my son's best friend called this morning - he fractured his tibia. Getting the cast on today. Trying to decide what we should do for him - if anything at all. He might be back in school pretty quick. On the other hand, he's got a lot of sitting around to do for a while.

What do you guys think.

I wonder where MrsX is too!

Maciesmom, I'm sorry about your grandmother. I know it doesn't make it easier, but your children are very fortunate to know a great grandparent. My children never even knew their grandparents. But seeing a grandparent or greatgrandparent is hard at any age. My thoughts are with you and your family.
