Good Day All!

Just caught up on the dating stories. Very interesting.

Fin - I'm a meat snob too, especially for lamb/mutton. Impossible to find any that is good.

Dew - that's hilarious. I would have laughed too.

Here's a chill Hump Day song, something new from Radiohead.

Oy vey! Sorry I've been MIA since the furniture posts.....we're in our own sleep retraining/nap-giving-up toddler hades over here right now. Mommy needs some sleep badly, as does DS.

Thanks everyone for the furniture input - I'll have to do some browsing around locally and see what I can come up with - something tells me our style is kind of eclectic. So envious of the NC outlets, calgirl!

Loved everyone's "story of us" tales too! And the Radiohead, Zim!

Given the unemployment rate nowadays, maybe she should just be thankful he found a job?

Hey, we used to go to the swap meet at the O.C. fairgrounds.

One of my favorite L.A. stories is when a bunch of sorority sisters and our dates went for cocktails at the Beverly Hills Hotel prior to our big formal ball...and the limo abandoned us and left us there. We thought we were being so posh, only to be abandoned by our rented limo.

That's what I told her, calgirl. (She got kind of huffy, lol. I'm going to let her cool off then call her tomorrow.)

So what did you do after you got stranded? (I can think of worse places to be. )

I can't remember if we called a cab or if some friends came by in their old Hondas and took us to the ball?

I miss California, still.

Question. Cucumber plants.

I've been reading they are best planted on soil mounds, but I can't find any information on how big and high the mound should be.
