You made me look! Wow it's really bright. I remember when we first moved up to the mountains, and I kept asking mrFR to turn off the outside light - I wasn't used to seeing the moon shadows, especially when there was snow. I'd always been in the city, and I had never really seen actual moonlight.

It's pretty trippy.

Our first winter in CO I finally understood what "the moon on the breast of the new fallen snow gave the luster of mid day to objects below."

I'd been on ski trips, but never lived in snow before.

I hear ya, I would never have been able to picture that either, if I hadn't seen it. It's really beautiful.

Good Morning All!

Too bad about the thuggery in Vancouver. It's kinda surprising for such a usually laid-back city.

We had a lot of much needed rain last night, and the frogs were very happy about it, singing at the top of their lungs all night long.

I was thinking the same thing.

Thuggery? What thuggery are we talking of?

106! Dew! Wanna come over and swim in our kiddie pool? I'm pretty sure it doesn't have any pee in it.

We lived in Colorado for a few years, and there were some nights when the moonlight shining off the snow made it bright enough to read by. I don't know if it gets that clear here in winter, but we haven't had any of those nights yet in Illinois.

We do get some pretty rockin' thunderstorms, though. When we moved back to California, I missed those from Colorado. No summer hail yet, but I'm sure that is coming.

Rioting in the streets. Cars tipped over and burned. Windows smashed. Just like they were Lakers fans!

I'd love to come over and swim with Little Miss FR. I just walked to the mail box. 93 already.

Did they win? Lakers fans seem to do that carp when they win, which I never understood. I always made sure I was safely inside when there was an NBA final on.

You should come over! Our 93 year old neighbor wants to swim with her too, she says it looks like so much fun.
