they do. If I don't have a job by then, it might be too expensive. I guess
I have a while to think about it, and only 2 weeks of summer left this year)

Good Morning All!

rkb - your son sounds very like mine was at that age. Are there no upcoming day camps? I would say one thing worth considering is upping his exercise, that worked a charm for my DS, and we also had to reduce screen time, it just stimulated him too much. And playdates, playdates, playdates, playdates...

We've done some swimming lessons and sports camps. the next 2 weeks are filled mostly with doctor's appointments and things. They go to a half day camp thursday and one day next week. I don't think sporadic one day at a time camps are good for him. He needs more consistency. We're heading outside to ride bikes now. That should help for now.

not anymore. We were for DS7's kindie year but now we're modified traditional. We go back Aug 1 so not too much longer. We will be out of town the last week, and will only have a few days to transition back to the school year. DS7 had SPD and doesn't do well with transitions. Starting our first day back, we'll start the school morning routine.

They have moved our school start date from Aug 1 to the 15th . Nothing like messing the parents around while the school board member are having a power struggle. One good thing to come out of our school board fiasco is that they guaranteed their positions are going to be short-lived.

Time for a tune. My most favorite genre of music, the Delta Blues. Interestingly this song was an impromptu take during a recording break, and after working on the arrangement for just 15 minutes.

Ooo-EE! Thanks, Zimbo. She has a great voice. I love gospel. The ETrade commercial where the little kid breaks into "Nobody knows the trouble I've seen" cracks me up every time.

For those of you with kids (and for the patriots among us) there is something pretty special that will be on TV today. President Obama will be presenting the Medal of Honor to a soldier this afternoon. CNN and FOX will be carrying it. The ceremony is very impressive and should be something the kids will find interesting. 2:15 Eastern time.

Thanks for the heads-up Dew.

Sometimes having overly techy people in this house can be a curse. I get confused by the number of wireless networks and what each one does. As far as watching internet streaming on the big tv...they actually have a computer dedicated to that tv. I think they built it - I'm not sure where some of these computers come from.
Careful-- next thing you know you'll have an extra kid in the house that bears a scary resemblance to Sheriff Andy on Eureka.
