They don't HAVE do. They do it voluntarily.
Getting freaked out about it is a sign of a mental issue in the parent, not the teenager.

Prude isn't a name, its a definition. And appropriately applied. Calling you a vegan if you don't eat or touch animal products isn't an insult, its an accurate label.

Your personal definition of "prude" is basically irrelevant if the population at large considers your behavior prudish right?

What is your definition of prude?

I enjoy sex. I don't have any sexual hang ups. I talk openly and honestly with my children about sex, childbirth, periods, relationships, STDs etc.

I choose not to watch pornography for moral reasons.

How does any of that make me a prude?

Huh?

And what is the moral reason(s)?

I think you probably meant exorcise - but your word is so much more descriptive and actually pertinent to the discussion. Thanks for the belly laugh. Exercising demons. What a delightfully descriptive turn of phrase
It was most definitely intended to be silly. Glad you enjoyed it.

I'm sure some calories are being burned...

EDIT: Forgot to mention, the female equivalent phrase, "ringing the devil's doorbell."

Also, someone mentioned amateur videos and pics. I have to say that I very, very sincerely doubt the "me and my bf decided to *giggle* be naughty and make *giggle* a PORNO *giggle*..." scenario. I honestly don't think much of the "amateur" action is in fact unpaid. And just because you're not paying for it as the user means absolutely NOTHING. The main way that people are leveraging profit out of the internet, is in advertising on free sites. Also, a guy can set up a site, administer it for a while, and once he proves it has X amount of traffic, sell it to someone else. Besides, I can tell from what I've seen that while a vid might be labeled under "Amateur" no one in the vid is talking about it being that, in fact it goes straight into the action usually. How on earth do you know it's really just a couple having some fun? I'm too cynical and skeptical to believe that.

My husband would also have me believe that most of those women are legitimately enjoying themselves and that "he could tell" if they were faking it. Well he's wrong. I've read enough written accounts by various porn actors/actresses to know that it's work even when it's entirely consentual and legit.

I found these funny to read and rather candid about similar subjects...

Yes, they are all cracked articles and no they're not meant as citations to prove any point. I found them engaging reading and relevant to the subject. Be warned...they frankly discuss the subject using adult language.

Do you know how many young adults use their smartphones and gopro to film themselves nowadays? Do you know how much porn is out there that has nothing to do with the porn industry? Making their own porn. Since the feminist revolution actually allowed women to admit to enjoying sex and porn, the newer generations are being honest about stuff, despite the disapprobation and hypocrisy of older generations. Porn for lesbians - plenty of it. Porn for gay dudes - a huge industry. Sexting, home made shots. It all comes down to what people enjoy and find stimulating - and the vast majority involves no harm to others. People selling their souls working in corporate slavers, turning themselves moribund working at McDs... have the gall and blindness to look down on others making money from basic human desires! Plus all the actual amateur stuff (sure, there is commercial "amateur" stuff.....)
Even monkeys watch videos of other monkeys copulating - its stimulating for mammals. Its like watching a cooking show - just stimulating and appealing to basic desires.

Most younger people can see through the fake moralizing.

So many hang ups.

I'm done here. Back to work selling my soul, not my body.

I would think.. And, perhaps someone who is gay can give their view.. That "Son, I found your gay porn mags, do you want to talk?" would not particularly be a great way to start a conversation.
Since my sons have two dads, I think we could handle it But we'd probably figure out if one of our sons is gay prior to finding the porn. As long as my sons keep it all private, I'll leave it alone.

No, I think it makes you a woman! From my understanding, women really aren't into the visual aspect of sex.

Those people should educate themselves on the sex trade, both in this country and other countries around the globe. Even if the porn you are watching says all actors are 18 and over, it very easily could be a lie. Many teen girls and boys are trained to act and look older for the camera. You should really research this topic before calling my concerns fake.
