Finishing Christmas cards this morning, but decided to take a CD break and have a cup of tea. Then, it's on to an unexpected and urgent project I was handed by the president of an organization for which I volunteer. Unfortunately, it requires a lot of personal follow-up with other members, who are all busy with the holidays, too, so I can't get anyone to call me back!
Oh my I'm sorry. Is it a scratch my back and I'll scratch your back kind of business?

My 4 year old is under the impression that ducks say "F*ck", started shouting it over and over again when I gave her some rubber ducks for her bath, and continued shouting it in the bath, with different voices for the different ducks!

Hooray for snow days! It's beautiful here this morning. But I feel for anybody who has to be out and about. I think I'll use this time to make cookies.

That's exactly what I'm doing in between keeping up with work emails. And clearing the accumulated clutter out of DS's room in preparation of him coming home for winter break. It gets easy to use that room for quick storage when in a hurry.

I'm standing in my kitchen watching my fourteen-year-old clear the driveway, and I'm stunned at how much snow we've had. Last I saw, we were expecting four-to-seven inches, but it looks more like ten-to-twelve, and the snow is still flying. Plows still haven't been through, which means it must be bad, because I live on a snow route. I think this one caught everybody off-guard.
