The best advice I got when my son got into the "business" is to choose an agent who answers all of your questions very directly and honestly and one who you would feel comfortable with while having a meal with in your bathrobe. Sounds crazy, but it was great advice. My son has had the same agent for about 10 years now, he started when he was 4 and is 17.
