At what age did you pull out $5,000 from your wallet and spend it all on one thing?
Money is worthless unless you spend it..
Wrong. It's quite useful. To have that 5K in the bank means I wouldn't be out on the street right away or running up high interest debts if I lose my job or have some other financial misfortune come my way.
When I had my take home pay cut by almost 15% back in 2011 and had my rent increase last year....because I was living well below my means, I could still pay my bills and contribute the same amount to retirement, although the amount I put in regular savings got cut significantly. If I had been living payday to payday like most people, I would be a lot more stressed out than I am.
spoken like a wasteful person. money is far from worthless even if you dont make major purchases. to each their own.
for a doctor and lawyer you seem uneducated about money
ummmmm.......I'm no CSI investigator but I would be shocked if the poster was high school graduate. Their posts are flaky, not exactly what a lawyer/Dr. would say.
Not too many people refer to themselves as Dr and then put PHD at the end either.....

Then again I own a business.. so I dont worry about pay cuts..
Nothing succeedes like success.
Shortly after I joined the Marine Corps Reserve; I started investing in penny stocks and working a full time civilian job while working in the reserves. I also worked plenty of jobs that paid under the table.
So tax evasion helped you get to an early 100K ?
