More people ought to do exactly this. You can't beat the materials in older construction so why let those houses rot and build cheap new stick houses? It's a shame.

True. Its what we wanted. All new fixtures/sinks/toilets, counters, cabinets, doors/trin/carpets/paint, appliances, switches/duplexes, lighting, HVAC systems, Italian stone tile in all bathrooms and kitchen and all new wiring too. its the best of both worlds..

Not just could. Has and does. Kids in the suburbs don't know boundaries, which is why so many of them get hooked on heroin and other drugs. They have no sense of right and wrong whatsoever. Two kids from Springfield, Delaware County a few weeks ago were even fighting and one of the punks stabbed the other one.

As "suburban" as the Northeast is, it's still a hell of a lot more disciplined and full of work-ethic than the suburbs.

It's no coincedence that the areas where underground drug economys flourish are the same areas that have been left to rot due to de-industrialization and corporate globalization. People will turn to lucrative industries, legal or not, when there are no other options.

To then spend the overwhelming majority of the budget for this war fighting a plant that has never killed anyone, while Pharmaceutical companies contribute to the largest OD death rates seen in our nation's history is absolute hypocrisy.

...I'm sure that's what you were thinking, right?
I'm pretty sure they focus on the neighborhood killers like crack, heroin, PCP.

Inner city kids have better work ethic then the burbs kids?? wow... People are people.. Work ethic is instilled by good parenting.. No matter where a person lives..
