Is this the 24th Ave & Thomas location?

I never got to go to Ladmos - alas
I heard they had burgers the size of a 45 record. Any truth to that?

Default KPHO / Wallace & Ladmo

How many of you watched the show, for your entire childhood and beyond, but (like poor me) never attended a live broadcast?

Ever wonder where it all happened kiddies?
You've probably driven past it a million times - right next to The Westward Ho on 1st ave.
Oh yes -the building is still there. Be sure to tip your hat as you go by.

RIP Ladmo & Mike Condello.

I'm one of the nameless/faceless kiddies from out in TV land. We got our first television set in the early 50's and my earliest memories of Wallace was some goofy guy on the Golddust Charlie Show.

I've been a loyal fan until I went into the military in 1971.

Great photos, thanks!

I was one of Wallace and Ladmo's biggest fans, but never got a chance to eat there despite begging my mom to take me there.

Anyone remember going to the Kersten Brothers' store? They were the official artists for the Boys and sold a Wallace and Ladmo comic book, coloring books, etc.

I was lucky enough to be on three times - twice during the period where they had all the toys stacked up behind fthe counter rom the Toy Cottage and you got to pick one, and once when I got a Ladmo Bag. The toy pickings were kind of weak the first time and Wallace handed me a Hallowe'en clown costume which I never wore when I froze up and couldn't pick one, but the second time I picked a plastic lion's head cane that fired a plastic bullet out of its mouth - a "Wild, Wild West" toy supposedly carried by Artemus Gordon (Ross Martin) on the show that was very cool.

I had an "in" with the show as one of my sisters was dating a KPHO cameraman who got me on.

I have worked with his brother for 30 years and still do today.
WOW we went to school with Vince & have to admit did a little partying at his house one week-end before heading out to a boon-docker(I think he was dating Kathy Stevens at the time?)....I read of his death and felt so sad for him...

the 2nd pic most closely resembles my memory which is not so good...I don't remember seeing a burger that big but the fries were delicious.
