Arizona is fully of nice and friendly people. I currently live in a wacko liberal area (the bay area) and find most of the people here to be rude and have a stick up their arses. I go to Phoenix to feed my soul with goodness and to experience friendly people for a change. So I'd have to completely disagree with your opinion. I find it exactly the opposite (the more crazy liberal the area, the more full of smugness, rudeness and selfish the people are). Long live AZ, and long live the great friendly people there too.
You seem to have the same sort of hostility towards the Bay Area that this fellow has towards Phoenix. What you are spreading is not much less odiferous.

Nope, if you have read my past posts you'd know I love a lot about the bay area, I just find a lot of the people to be unfriendly and the extreme politics to be annoying. I love the area itself, the vineyards, the cities, the cultures, the ocean, and the fact there is so much to do and see in a very short drive away. As I have stated before, I will probably visit here very often when I get the chance to move. For me it is a great place to visit, I'd just prefer not to live here.

Also, I don't go into the Bay Area posts and mouth off hatred for it. But I'm happy to defend Arizona when I have the chance.

WAY out of town is right up my alley.

I understand it may be hard when not on vacation, because it seems to be so hot, but as long as you have A/C, drink lots of water, and wear sunscreen, you'll be good to go.

I'll be weird with you.

One thing I highly recomend as a recent transplant myself is make sure you have employment lined up first. The job market is very tough here and you could end up in a scary financial situation. I wrote an eHow advice article on tips for securing a job from out of state.
