"Exactly when did Surprise become a dangerous place?"
Surprise is not dangerous. Violent crime is rare. I have lived in Surprise for six years and that is one of the reasons that I like it here. The most recent crime in my subdivision was the theft of some Christmas lawn ornaments in December. They better call in Elliot Ness. |

I have lived here my whole life...and its the same story everytime. For everyone who is new to the area just know that people who live in the east valley especially snotsdale consider the rest of the metro to be a crime riddin scum ghetto....when in reality most are just working class neighborhoods. There are some dangerous places but nothing like these people make it out to be. Surprise, Peoria, Avondale, Glendale (south glendale near the tracks is kinda bad) are all good places to live.
